I think it's a hoot. I always thought about trying to get cooperation from someone and try to trap them.

But people are so gullible and so greedy. I have well-educated people who get these urban legend e-mails and pass them on. Even after you send them the link to snopes and tell them it's a scam they STILL pass it on.

My philosopy is "if it tells you to send it to everyone you know, hit delete." If more people learned that a lot less viruses would get passed around. And maybe your e-mail wouldn't get filled with spam.

For some unknown reason, the Nigerians think us hillbillies are especially dumb. They have recently been sending me emails about my "poor departed Uncle Leon ******, a solicitar in Nigeria. About how he left me millions in his will but the only way to get it out of the country and into my bank account is to pay a bribe of $10,000 to a bank offical to transfer it as the government there naatioanalizzed his account. All Augie needs to make this happen is the $10,000 in a certified check and my bank account rooting number and account number. THe bolded words were spelled exactly that way in the email. I get stuff like this everyday and delete as spam immediately. So far I haven't asked anyone to paint on their breasts but it sounds like fun!!
