I have a new number and I am getting calls for the previous owner from what I am assuming to be CA's. How can I use the TCPA against the CA's since I have requested them to stop calling my number as the party they are triying to reach does not live here?

I was just thinking about you earlier when I was looking at cases...I started doing something else and didn't post it, but I found a case where a CA was contacting the wrong person and they were sued.
You can get them on both FDCPA and TCPA...let me find it again and I'll be back.

Maybe I did post it...check the cases below. The only thing is that TCPA is governed by state courts.

First thing you gotta do is start keeping a log and write down all of the ones that you have recieve thus far; dates, times, who called, etc. Can you transfer the messages from your cell phone to your computer?
