| Hello everyone
I'll try to behave here although I do sometimes enjoy tilting at windmills.
Through luck, I've got 3 100% clean reports currently and a couple of 10 year plus tradelines reporting.
I'm a veteran of one JDB suit as defendant. Dismissed without $ changing hands.
AND
I'm now in a Federal suit as Plaintiff...currently in settlement talks.
They apprently did not like the Liquidated Damages provisions so I'll be needing some input.

| I often have problems like the one Derek described from work, but I always figured it was the firewall because it's fine at home.
Derek, it could be your firewall or some security settings, too.

| Good Morning
Wasn't sure if I should use my old ID or start anew, with no enemies or friends, but I figured what the heck, I'm me, so kept the ILMD. : )
I love the way the posts look, as the white on black for an oldie like me is very easy to read.
I had been meaning to come over here for quite awhile but just never had the time, but I guess NOW is the time.
Thanks for having me
Hannah aka I love my dogs... |

| Hi! I am relatively new to the credit repair scene; With talk of marriage comes talk of buying a house, and that is how I got here...Unfortunately, my fiance's credit report ( TransUnion to be exact) is a nightmare! So I am here to learn from those that know! |

| I haven't used this nick since late in 1998 when I found two sites; creditnet and whychat's site. I know most of the old timers including their real names. I originally joined to repair my oldest daughter's credit but like many I made some good friends and learned a lot about credit.
Yes, pale rider I AM the person who was the bk specialist. I am proud to say over the past 3 1/2 years I have helped over 100 people wih their bk filings. Some had attys many did not. I still keep in touch with many of the people I helped. I never gave "legal advice" per se but documentation help. I have a law degree but I haven't sat for the Bar exam yet. I think most people here know why.
Enuff said for now. |

| Hello Hello,
I'm Marswoman. I'm just your average girl who worked two jobs most of her life to pay her way. My family was old fashioned, never had or used credit cards. I was raised to work hard and only buy things if needed if you had the money. To borrow or take loans was the equivalent of begging, and that was discouraged.
I had basic credit for years, until I rented my house and moved out of state. After 7 months, they suddenly stopped paying rent, trashed the place after I sent a laywer there, and disappeared. Thats when the nightmare began.
Its taken me almost 2 years to clean up that mess....and the resulting damage to my credit from my renters. Court costs, legal stuff, extra expenses, remodeling, cross country travel, etc. After I sold the home, paid off the mortgage, had a substantial amt of money in the bank, and moved back cross country, I was denied apts because of my credit score. I was temporarily homeless and nearly suicidal.
A neighbor of mine who I grew up with ran a credit repair business out of her home, and she got my credit majorly cleaned up within 6 months. We found out the mortgage company was not reporting accurately. We found out the renters had switched utilities back into my name after I moved. She got pre foreclosure information reported by the mortgage company, deleted. I got the other smaller items corrected on my own. There began my scary journey into......CREDIT REPAIR!!
Found the AofC forum and got so much help there. I realized none of my phone calls were doing any good, I had to learn to put everything in writing, by certified letter.
4 months after I was homeless, I found the Condo of my dreams. I've been here almost 3 years now
Following this mess, I collapsed with exhaustion. 8 months of illness on and off and now $1000 in medical bills to be paid. Thats what I'm working on at the present.
I have gotten more realistic advice thru AofC and Infinite Credit that has helped me become a smarter consumer, informed defender of my rights, and stronger person. I am so grateful for this forum and for the wonderful people here.
