| Hello All...
Tunnel Light here, some of you may remember me from AoC and I'm also over on DB. Saw some more familiar names over here and thought I'd join in. Nice job on the site.

| Tunnel's Story That's okay Mr. Bean, our vague (if non-existent) memory of one another is mutual, but I have to say I am impressed with your latest cases and determination as I read the thread about the Botch.
Anyway, I'll give everyone a brief overview of my sitch. I guess you could say I am a direct representative of DH. I took the wheel in his credit repair journey in 2004 and started with 15 baddies, a FICO that was worse than if he had just declared bankruptcy (mid 400's), and a strong desire to get our lives back on track after a four year stint of job instability and shaky income. Last year we took advantage of a credit window of opportunity to buy our first home as I had just gotten his FICO over 600. Sure, it's a crappy 2/1 arm with a terrible interest rate, but we were under a land contract and needed to secure the house before the owner/seller decided time was up. Scores are now mid 600's (mostly) using the Flyingifr method, but I need to double efforts because I need to get this house refinanced in the spring of next year before the ARM adjusts....no pressure though.
To add complication to the picture, DH is being sued by an OC and currently in litigation there (superior court) usiing an SOL affirmative defense. And, by my calculations, they are exactly six days out of statute, six years on written contract in our state. So far, Answer has been filed, case management conference held, and sent plaintiff's counsel discovery docs. We have to bring in a hired gun to handle the rest because the judge in this case is decidedly anti-pro se and has given me fair warning about "unauthorized practice of law" because I said FIVE words at the case management conference after DH was asked by judge if he planned to file any motions before trial. Those words were (meekly and as if it were a question), "He wanted to serve discovery?" No, I won't be going back and making any appearances at the courhouse anytime soon, not even for moral support. Lesson learned.

Wow, hard nose judge, but I wouldn't let it get to me. You'll just have to coach hubby behind closed doors.

| I registered a last month, but I have not been back to visit for a rather silly reason: I cannot read my screen when logged on to this site! The screen is a deep, dark, blue, and the print is a sky blue.
The deep blue background makes it virtually impossible for me to read for any length of time.
Can someone show me how to change it to a more comfortable background color? Otherwise I may stay away for another month!
Yes, I looked on the Control Panel already.... |

| Look all the way down to the bottom of this page on the left hand side. You will see a pull down menu. One says New IC and the other says --InfiniteCredit. Choose --InfiniteCredit for a more soothing color.

Yes, I looked on the Control Panel already.... | Hi, sorry that the colors bother your eyes, but if I am not mistaken both skins have a dark background. Maybe I'll holler at Qtip in a little while and see if we can help.
BTW...welcome!

| I'm the woman who beat Transunion Hi There:
You may have read about me. I'm the woman who won the lawsuit from Transunion with the $ 800,000 verdict. I can't talk about the details of my case because of the post trial motions and the eventual appeal.
What I can tell you is not to give up against these corporations. They take our information and sell it. We are a commodity to them. No matter how much they may tell you that they want your credit report to be accurate, they really don't care.
I'm glad to see there's a website like this available to consumers. I wish I would have found this site two years ago when I started having a problem no one could help me solve.

I totally understand -- I'm not talking about ongoing litigation, either. |
