After giving my name, date of birth and social security number to a New Guinean pencil salesman, Chase was kind enough to offer me 6 months of free credit monitoring.

They sent me a letter today saying I have no new activity in the last three months.

Since when does opening two new credit cards and getting a credit limit increase on another count as "no new activity"????

The pencil salesman or you? If you did it, then there technically was no new activity not initiated by you. If the pencil salesman or those of his ilk did it, you've got a lawsuit.

If Chase has offered him free monitoring, because Chase likes to give pencil salesmen private information, how the heck would they know without contacting Spinn, whether it was really Spinn that opened three new accounts. I mean doesn't everyone want to be like Spinn?
