How should clean our ears?

A board member seems to think that we should never use QTips to clean our ears; what do you think?

My Mom always said that you should never put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear and that cotton swabs were for cleaning belly buttons and electronics.

Well since you asked. (cue the music)

I dream of an internet society devoid of Qtips.

A society in which I am free to select what ever cleaning implement for my ears as I so desire.

Be it a wash cloth, or napkin. Kleenex or pencil. A selection made with no threat of admonition, retribution or persecution by the governing body.

A society in which the cleaning implement I select is viewed upon as my choice and respected , regardless of popularity or personal preference by the dictator of the land.

One man's Qtip may be another man's toilet paper. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Now, I mean it this time, that was my last post.

That is unless I come in tomorrow and the ban has been miraculously lifted. Then there will be ear cleaners for everyone!!!! regardless of race creed or debtor/creditor preference.

And we will shout joyously:

Clean ears at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Clean ears at last!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God Almighty Clean Ears at last.
