I tried to read them and just can't get into them and I have always liked sci-fi and fantasy especially witches and faeries. Guess I am just too old for JK Rowling's writing style.

DH and I waited in line on The Night just to see the crowd. We'd pre-ordered from our local bookstore. A few thousand people showed up (2000-3000). I got my copy from the owner. DH is reading it now.

By the time we went to the kitty oncologist yesterday, he'd gotten about 200 pages in. He was up reading after I went to sleep, so dunno how far he is now.

Try any Star Trek book, Star Gate book, Diana Gabaldon, Steven Gould, or Shana Abe.

For pure science on time travel, try Steven Hawking.
