| There's no guarantees, but if your husband cosigns, you'll likely get it as long as he has good credit and a good history of working.
I'm looking at this for my wife's graduate school as well. There are different types of loans but generally, they give you a 6-month grace period. Interest still accumulates over the life of the loan, though, so unless you pay the interest payments monthly, you'll end up with a much larger loan at the end of 2-3 years.
