Will money clips ruin the magnetic strip on credit cards?

I use a money clip now and its nice using something so much smaller than a wallet. But will money clips ruin the magnetic strip on my credit cards?

Any type of metal can do that. Try and get ahold of a plastic clip instead.

they might.look for the one that won't demagnetize cards
