Just received an offer from Applied Bank. Never heard of them. Has a limit of $500, one time app fee, $10/month fee, 24% APR. Anyone have experience with them?

Is that the outfit formerly known as First National Bank of Marin?

But in essense and regardless of whether it was FNBM, stay away from any bank that wants money to apply. Spend it on a deposit account for a decent secured card.
