The easiest way to get a free credit report is to sign up for a new credit card! Sign up for a card that you know you will get turned down for, or ask for a limit increase you know you won't get. The issuer will deny you, but, they are required by law to tell you that you've been denied and that you are entitled to a copy of the credit report they used to determine your status. Send them a response telling them you want that free copy, and there you go!
