if you Keep a separate credit history from your spouse, no.

No getting married does not make your credit bad but it will make it harder to get things if you put his name down on things with yours. He should get his credit straight but that takes about seven years so i don't know what else to tell you. But remember in life credit is one of your life lines so use it wisely or find out the hard way.
