My 19 year old step son owes a lot in credit cards?

My 19 year old son owes 300K in credit card debt. And he isn't loosing sleep over it. How can I help him without giving him some money to pay it off, not that I have even close to what he owes, but his mother suggested I start giving him a monthly allowance to help him pay it off, but I said no way.
Ahhhh that was supposed to say 30K not 300k!!!!

i say start making him do things around the house like if he does the dishes its worth 4 dollars if he takes out the trash its work a dollar or 2 etc...and just pay that much on his bill at the end of my month plus w/e he is paying...i really hope he has a job
if knew my parents were gonna help me like i would be doing everything around the house ( even tho i don't live w/ my parents i would still be there every day
and i would chop up that card if i was you
