Is it safe to access bank accounts/credit card information via wireless internet?

Hello all,
I have internet at home that is both LAN and WLAN. Before I got my laptop, I accessed bank information via LAN with my desktop, which I thought was pretty secure. However, recently I got a laptop and it's more convenient to move around the house. I'm wondering if it's "safe" to continue accessing bank information and other sensitive material over the secured wireless internet.

The wireless internet is secured through WPA-TSK and the SSID is not being broadcasted, along with the admin password being changed. I've done the best I can to secure my internet.

Thanks for the help.
Cheers. Long live internet. =]

as much as your conection is encripted and you have a password on your wireless networkm you don't have to worry about safety of card tranzactions.

Yes everything is very secure nowadays, bank pages use ssl encryption. Not even the owner of the webpage can see anything. Just a large string of letters and numbers. Even if someone is spying it's impossible to do anything and you would realize it thanks to your security software.

Public Zones are much more dangerous because they clone web pages to make you think you're logging in.

WPA is going to encypt what you send through the air to the router so unless someone cracked your WPA-TSK passcode, which is very unlikely, you will be ok.
