Yes TX is community property. When you DV them, DO NOT say cease all contact. But do say please do not call.
I had a loan with them a few years ago. Maybe it was my local office that made the difference, but they were easy to work with. But then, it stayed local. When we hit hard times, they were willing to "re-age" (on your credit report that is a different story and a bad thing) the loan by doing a refinance when it reached a certain point. You might ask for something like that at some point.
