credit troubles

i filed bk in 2000 still have an account that is showing charged off when it was included in the BK talked to creditor they say they are reporting it included in BK credit agency says it is accurate every time i dispute.

any help suggestions

was it a charge off prior to the BK having been filed?

Are you looking at a report that came straight from the reporting agency? And to further Centex's question, is there any notation of the BK?

it was included in the bk it never was charged off. the report came directly from the CB. hope this helps

Then I would do a FACTA dispute. Dispute with them that it is IIB, and I would even send them a copy of the section of their report with their tradeline on it.

Include in your dispute that you have disputed it xx times with the CRA and they have verified it. Find out if the OC has received these dispute notifications.
