credit.com truecredit or alternative?

I am looking for a credit monitoring service I can check at least every 2 to 4 weeks...

Want all 3 reporting agencies.

credit.com seems to have a good deal along with truecredit...

I think I saw someone say the scores are not reliable though... what does that mean??

Not truly up to date or just plain inaccurate?

Thanks.

All of the tri-merge reports that do not expressly claim to provide a FICO score are scores that use some other algorithm and hence, are referred to as FAKO's. Those tri-merge reports are useful ONLY for monitoring whether a change has occurred, not what the impact of the change might be.

There are three places to get a true FICO score...the myFICO site, EQ using their Score Watch products or the PFICO that comes with cards issued by Washington Mutual (although those scores will be a bankcard-enhanced version of FICO so some whine and snivel about them even though it is actually a score more likely to be viewed by a card issuer).

Ok, so I guess I will just re-order all 3 reports from myfico every two months or so.

Thanks.

I have a WM card and the only FICO I see is from TU.
Is there a way to see EQ and EX?
I haven't seen a way.
Thanks

As far as I know, they only provide the one score...most get the TU bankcard-enhanced FICO. A few on CB have reported that instead of TU, they got one of the others, but it appears to be blind dumb luck.

But between the TU bankcard-enhanced and the EQ SWG product, it gives me enough to work with since those two reports, for me, are substantially similar.

I have recently gotten the 2 freebie memberships to True Credit and Privacy Guard. I finally found out how to update DAILY with True Credit, but do not see a way to update with Privacy Guard except every 30 days.

Ilovemydogs, I think it's the nature of the beast with Privacy Guard.

I have turned their website inside out and upside down trying to find a way to update before the 30 days has expired. No can do. I am thinking about switching to a service which will update sooner. After all, it took me years to get going on fixing this mess....and now it is too much to ask for me to wait a few weeks to see changes and results.

ps I also l my d.

I just called up PG got two people BOTH who said you could update... Then of course they said they had to transfer me.
Got another person, who also said I could update. We went on the page of PG, she started to tell me what to do, I did it, and she then said " This is how you update." I said "This just shows me the exact same report that I have been seeing since Feb. 18.
She said "That is correct" I said "Well that is not updated" She said " When was the last time you looked at your reports?" I said,"Every few days, and NO UPDATE" She then said 'Oh it only updates every 30 days" I then said "Well then I can't update it can I?" She said "No" DUH DUH DUH...

TC does let you update daily and I do enjoy seeing my updates, especially when I have disputed something. : )

I don't know what the problem is that y'all are having with Privacy Guard as I can pull a new tri-merge every 24 hours and have always been able to since I signed up in 2004. During the "Great Massacre" nothing happened to me or to the services I signed up for.

I also called PrivacyGuard and my ''tech support" said that she actually uses the PG service at home and there is no way for her (or me) to update before the 30 days has passed.
It seems that my dog and I live in the PG parallel universe where nothing changes on a daily basis.

You can't update to the newest report though as you can with TC can you?
While you CAN pull daily,it will be the same ol' same ol 'until 30 days have elapsed.
