PIF questions

itismejoshy New Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 2	ok, i made the mistake a few years back of paying off some of my wife's dept in an effort to repair her credit, well now all these accounts are showing as paid collections, i know this is better then unpaid in a manual review but it didn't help her score one bit. do i have any other options other then just a GW letter begging for them to remove it? can i DV them in hoping they won't verify to get them to remove it? any ideas? thanks-Josh
