| Skip Tracer? If so not a GOOD one.... Hi folks, just got a really WEIRD e-mail from someone using an e-mail address comprised of an old girlfriend's name and initials.
BUT, it says I "submitted the following info to them, " and it lists an OLD address of mine in another state.
It also is "signed" by"Bernard Hartman, 6192 Country Way South, Saginaw, MI 48603."
Seems to me if an old flame were to write me, she wouldn't sign it "Bernard" and ask me to click a link.
Also, I dialed in the root website that the link references, and it says "This website is currently unavailable."
Scam? Bad Skip Tracer? Someone named Bernard who has a crush on me...lol?
Weird...any ideas? |

| I guess...someone tried to sic a skip tracer on YOU?
This is just so odd, as the e-mail addy was comprised of a former girlfriends' name and initials whose last name is NOT a common one....
Very strange indeed.......

| As Hannah so spritefully suggested, it sounds like Spam, but internet 101 teaches us what class?
NEVER ever, open an email that you don't recognize and NEVER click on a link in unknown emails.
