Opt out ?

Anyone have anything that says opting out does not include collection agencies? I know this has been discussed, but can't find anything official. Looking for links/cases that support that, not a personal opinion of if it does or not, please.

I do remember this being discussed; look like I remember it being in the AOC files. Don't ask me where right now, but I think that's where I remember it.

Opting out only excludes those firm offers of credit or insurance.

Take a look at the FAQ on this website as well as the ftc.gov website. Remember, too, what the definition of a firm offer is.
