Non PP?

Ok guys quick question....

DW had a Kohls CC and it was IIB....

She is opted out and has been and Kohls pulled two SOFT Inq's one in November and one in December....

They are not coded at all on her EX so I dont know why they pulled it. But they have no AR because this account was IIB and they have no PP for promotional purposes. All I can think is that they were doing an AR..

Is this a non PP

EX will tell you its an AR because if its a promo they are in trouble.

Call and ask them what it is.

Write them a letter, DO NOT threaten to sue, but quietly ask their PP.

Dear Khols,

According to my EX credit report you reviewed a copy of my credit report on xx/xx/xx.

I do not have an account with your company, I have not applied for an account, employment or insurance with your company.

Please provide me with the name of your employee that authorized the credit pull, and the permissible purpose for the credit pull.

Thirty days should be sufficient for you to comply with my request. If you need additional time, please notify in writing when you expect to respond.

Please be guided accordingly.

Sincerely,

Mrs J.
