| Do they need my phone number to grant me a CLI??? I have a CC from Citibank and it has my highest limit but is due for an increase. Beacuse I have a fraud alert on my file they tell me they are required to call me. I am fine with that....actually want it that way.
But, they are telling me....AFTER doing a credit pull, that my correct phone number is not on my report. They have my correct number on file. If I give the CRAs my phone number, I am sure Citi will do another pull......I dont want that.
So I called them and got a nice young man in Telubida who basically repeated everything I said to him and asked me if I had done all he asked. I said no and called back and again got another Telubidian who was also very good at repeating my question.
Sooooo, can they really require me to have my correct phone number listed with the CRAs when they already have it on file? |
