Please Help! Negotiating to Remove Judgment

I got some GREAT info from 'Pale Rider' which leads to more questions.

1. Does anyone know the Statute of Limitations to file a MOTION TO VACATE a Judgment in California? In Colorado?

2. Does anyone have any strategies for a PAY FOR DELETE agreement with the OC to get a Judgment removed from a Credit Report?

It seems that if I pay the judgment, it gets listed as SATISFIED in the public record, which doesn't seem to do me any good?

I'm looking for a way to frame an agreement to get the thing off!

TIA

I think you have one year from the file date to dispute with the court house. I would recommend that you call the court house though to confirm this.

What you want to do is ask the creditor to please dismiss the case in exchange for full payment. If they agree, then get the court updated and obtain a copy of the dismissal for the credit reporting agencies to delete this listing off of the credit report.
