First Premier Re-inserts

First Premier has just re-inserted two 30 day lates on my file.

The lates were the result of them not mailing me statements for 6 months or so and then charging me an annual fee that was not to be charged during that 6 month window..

They sent me a letter around October saying the lates would be removed.

They just re-inserted the lates on TU and EQ without anyone sending me any notice.

I have never missed a payment on anything and my scores on EQ are 60 points lower than EXP and 40 pts lower on TU (FAKOS).

They did this in retaliation for me closing the account.

Whats my next move?

They do this as retaliation for closing. I had to fight them on one of my two accounts about that as well.

Write their general counsel and ask for the removal, send a copy of the letter.

The OCC isn't applicable: First Premier is not a national bank. The OCC would never permit their high fee practices if they were a national bank.

Thanks.....

So what is First Premier then?

I know they are rediculously profitable.....but it amazes me that such a parasitic company continues to get customers.

Do they just handle credit cards?

And the naive question is.....if the OCC wont allow their outrageous fees.....why does whomever regulates them allow it???

They're a state bank in South Dakota.

South Dakota permits charging whatever, which is why pretty much every CC issuer moved there.
