| Anyone have the full Acrobat? Adobe Acrobat. If I shelled out the $$ for a full version, then went to the AOC archives and downloaded something of Towers, could I cut from the .pdf and then paste the caselaw into my pleading papers on my word processor?
I get sick of having to re-type everything. |

| Try this - open the doc in regular Acrobat. Go to Tools on the top bar. There should be a Select command. Click on that, the cursor becomes an arrow instead of the hand. Highlight what you want and copy (Ctrl-C or what you prefer) and then go to your word doc and paste (Ctrl-V). |

| Try converting from PDF to Word.
I originally PDF'd all the files and I did not OCR them. All you have is an image.
If you OCR the files it will convert easier.

| If you post what caselaw you need, maybe we can just paste it into the caselaw forum directly and make it easier for you (and others). |

I always thought that was just a feature only in the full version, as an incentive to buy it. |

| It doesn't work with every document. I guess the software needs to be able to recognize the type. |

I wanted to cut and paste parts of the Guererro vs RJM case and the way Tower and other explained it. I got it now. |

| Mac users can just open in preview, select all, and then paste wherever. |

| OK, That makes sense. I get a lot of .pdf files from my county's courthouse website, but they are scanned as images.
The AOC archives here are fantastic. Did we ever find out what happened with ownership of the AOC domain name? |

| It ends up being giant that way. I guess I could shrink it with the 'chop, though. |
