I just got a ScoreWatch alert that I had a 16-point increase on EQ due to dropping to a lower utilization band.
I first hit 650 on two of my scores last December, but it was short-lived, and my scores immediately tanked to below 650 again.
To my knowledge, today's the first time I've had all three above 650; they now range from 655-677.
I couldn't have done it without y'all.  |

I don't know why I am nervous about doing it, but I need to check my scores too. However, I am told that it is best to check FICO near the end of the month.

Ehh, I tend to check mine mid-month. Dunno why. In this case, ScoreWatch keeps me updated, so I don't usually buy EQ scores. I subscribe to myFICO's Identity Theft Security thingie, which gives me one FICO report per quarter for TU, so I only buy TU scores in the other months. (I usually get one/month/CRA, but some months I don't bother.)
