| Non-PP Letter Is there a sample letter anywhere for non-pp's? I have looked everywhere or I was looking to hard for it and just over looked it.
Could someone, please, direct me to the right thread or give me an idea of what I should say in my letter.
Thanks

CD | Do you mean to the CRA or the "puller" to ask what the PP was for? I'm not sure what you are asking for.

Hi Hannah,
To the CRA.
A CA did a non-pp on me on Monday. This one also sent me a letter last month stating that they had closed my file and removing the TL from my credit. The TL was removed last month.
Thanks |

| Then your beef is with the CA - not the CRA.

Dear xxxxx,
I noticed that on (date) that your pulled my (name of CRA) report. Under what permissible purpose did you pull my credit report?

Send it CMRRR. By sending a simple letter like the one above, you let them hang themselves if indeed they had no PP. They may have pulled it to verify the tradeline had indeed been removed but that should have been a soft one I should think.

Thanks Hannah!
I will send it out today. I just want them to remove it because that cost me my score to go down and I don't need that righ now.
Maybe, this was their last act of vengence for asking for validation that they couldn't prove. |

You are correct, Jlynn.
I am so mad at the CA for causing my score to go down until I don't know what I'm asking for. |

Maybe, this was their last act of vengence for asking for validation that they couldn't prove. | You could ask them in the letter to re-code the inquiry as a soft if indeed it was to see if the tl had been removed. Sometimes just asking can get it done.

| If you DV'd the CA and they failed to provide validation/verification then they did not have a PP to pull.
There really is no case law on this, but I have worked this with the worlds largest CA in house counsel. In house counsel sent it to outside counsel for defense. After several phone calls and faxes, counsel decided it was better to settle than to have case law established on this.
