| ebills OC is continuing to send ebills on a charged off account that is with a CA. I know that's not the norm. Should I be saving these ebills or can I just delete them? They look like this:
You have a new e-Bill from OC - Visa :
Payee Account Number: ************1234
Due Date: 07/22/2007
Minimum Amount Due: $ xxx.xx
Statement Balance: $ x,xxx.xx
To pay this e-Bill, you must first sign in to Online Banking. |

| I would either print them or PDF them for future reference.

| If the OC is still sending statements, then that would suggest it has not been sold off and is only placed with the third party. Sounds like the time would be ripe to pursue a Rule5000 adjustment...

| The account has definitely been charged off. It's 1.5 years since the last payment. I've been contacted by two different CAs. I've sent CMRR validation requests to both CAs, but have never had *any* kind of reply.
I think it's a glitch, that they keep emailing "You have a new bill from OC Credit Card"

Charge off means nothing in relation to ownership of the account. And if I was in a position of having a delinquent account that showed signs of still being with the OC as opposed to having been sold off, I would be doing everything I could to make a Rule5000 adjustment occur. Being 18 months out makes it a difficult task, but you can bet that I would damned sure be on the phone trying to swing a deal before it DID get sold off...
But hey, we can only lead you to water...we can't force you to drink.

I think it's a glitch, that they keep emailing "You have a new bill from OC Credit Card" | Have you tried to sign in to your online account? That's usually the first thing they turn off...

| I am truly sorry you are not feeling well Acebo............
I have had some recent medical issues and realize how frustrating it can be when someone is trying to take money from you when you need to pay for medicine.

In the fall my Drs. were set to diagnose me with fibromyalgia. I went to an ENT, because a brain MRI showed my ethmoids were opacified and he sent me for a sleep study. It turned out that I had UAR, from a complete nasal blockage. Once I had the sinus and nasal surgery to clear everything up, *most* of my fibromyalgia symptoms cleared up. Quote:

This is why Drivel makes me laugh, because he thinks that the majority of people are in credit hell, because of choice. Well, I guess it was my choice to not have enough disability insurance, but that would have been a financial nightmare in itself. Quote:

| Dont mean to drag this too far off topic but if you have low energy it may be due to poor thyroid and/or adrenal function. An easy way to check is to take your temperature. If it is low it may be low thyroid. If it is low and erratic it may be poor adrenal function or both thyroid and adrenal.
Endocrinologists know nothing about endocrinology...they just hand out lipitor and paxil while billing $1000 an hour. |

Are you able to log into the account to look at the e-bill? I thought that was the first thing they killed also. |

It puts thing in prospective. When CAs call, it's like who cares, it's a phone call. The OC that is suing me rattles me a bit, but hopefully I'll win on a renewing the traverse or appealing the traverse. It was nice of them to commit fraud with a paper trail, because it adds a little comfort. Quote:

The last time I logged in was so long ago. I would have thought that was the first thing that they turned off as well. Maybe, because the OC went through a merger it caused a glitch? |

I haven't. I suppose that I've tried to pretend like I don't exist, afraid that if I tried, it would set off some kind of internal alarm system. |
I can assure you, I've never said that.
I always try to avoid broad generalizations such as collectors are dumb, all jdb's are evil, etc.
