This is scenario...
Al Wakefield called Dear Daughter #1 today at her home phone number and asked for her in her married name, the 30th of July 2007.
Left a VM that she needed to return his call and referenced Burak Law Offices and gave her the phone number 1-800-853-4000. Said it was "Urgent that she call him today!"
He told her to reference case number ******.
Her DH found the VM on their phone and called DD#1 who was out of state working. She (not being as savvy at her age and never having had a collection call) called the number from her cell phone, and was directed to a man who told her that her sister Dear Daughter #2 needed to give a statement about a legal matter and that she needed to call them as soon as possible and that they needed to also apprise her of legal rights. She explained that DD#2 was her sister and that she doesn't see or talk to her anymore, but she would forward the message to her mother (me). He also told her that it was the Law Offices of Donald Burak. When she asked him what it was about, he said because it was in WV he couldn't disclose any more information than that.
She asked how how they got her home phone number. He told her that DD#2 listed her as a "contact". DD#1 just got the number a few months ago and DD#2 doesn't have any number for her except her cell phone.
