Anyone know anything about this company like what state they are chartered in? Who are they owned by? Were they merged? Do they still exist? Give me a quick summary and links if you have them.

I seem to recall that they were acquired by HSBC a year or two back...there should be some info in the FDIC databases.

Direct Merchants Bank still has a web site, but it says their Master Cards are issued by HSBC.
