I had dealings with them earlier this year that the MI AG made go bye-bye...but I didn't know that.

| I'm not aware of Sallie Mae owning Asset. I knew that they had the stake in Arrow though.
I am more inclined to believe an author failed to adequately check their facts...

| If Asset is publicly-traded, then Sallie Mae could only own a portion of the stock. If they own controlling interest it should be easy to find through their filings.
When I get a little time I'll see if I can find it.
