I am sure there are threads about this but I am too tired to look....and sad because Hannah called me a squirrel.

If I closed a CC account nearly a year ago.....are they allowed to do a hard pull today?

and yes......I spelled permissible wrong

Closed with $0 balance?

If the account is closed they have no PP.

If they did a soft PP for prescreening and you did not recieve a firm offer of credit, they violated.

Yes closed with a $0 balance......it was a hard pull and I did not receive an offer of credit.

As to the PP...are there any other business relationships with the lender in question? That includes subsidiaries either wholly or partially owned...
