Lexington Law Firm - Class Action

WOW!!!

The consumers are speaking.....they are fed up with all these companies empty promises or no results.

Lexington Law Firm (an online credit repair firm) is under class action suit. I never used them, but I did contact them about their services.

I thought everyone knew about these folks...they don't do as much as you can do except take your money.

Ouch, CreditGuard messes up your credit report? I went with them and thought what they charged was a bit much, 400 over three payments...1200. I paid one month and said forget it. I am believing there are no firms out there that actuall help people.

Well, there aren't many. Most are scams or incompetent.

Lexington Law for example only disputes one or two items per time. They charge a montly fee so this is to their advantage. Their rationale is that disputing more than that will somehow get you flagged. This of course is a lie.

The truth is that you only get a few bites at the apple with respect to tradelines. It doesn't matter how many you dispute at once however. It is rather how many times you dispute the same things and how you dispute them.

Moreover, most credit repair firms are automated or have minimum wage morons working for them. They don't know the FCRA or FDCPA nor the caselaw interpreting the frameworks.

Finally, credit repair is a two fold process which can be aptly described as taking away the bad and adding the good. Just taking away the bad is not going to do much if you lack positive open history. Of course, these dolts are too stupid to realize that and promise the farm but, deliver a goat.

I would state that we are legit based on our credentials and testimonials. There isn't anything else we can do in terms of licensing or affiliations. Well, we're in the process of getting CDIA certified but, once that is done that is literally it.

You are permitted to dispute 22 items at a time.. disputing 2 at a time is definately in favor of Lexington law. I used them for 4 months and they disputed around 12 items and only got one item deleted.

Where did you get the figure of 22 items can be disputed at one time?
