Are they owed to one medical provider?
Are the actual judgments or past due bills?

Yes, judgments from 2003. All different medical providers but the same lawyer represents them all. It was an operation my daughter had in 2002. We thought we were covered...long story. Im reading stories about how some people settle for like half the original amount, That would be awesome. I think the OC would work with me but Ive never actually spoken to the lawyer so Im thinking start with the OC, What do you think??

There's one very important piece of information that Enigma asked that will make a big difference. Are they actual judgments, or are the collections that are threatening to sue?
If they are judgments, then they have already gone to court, and talking to the OC will not help unless the judgment is in the OC's name.
We really need to know EXACTLY what you're dealing with.

What state are you in?
Are they garnishing your wages, or threating to do so?
Was this a tax supported hospital or for profit?

Im in CT. No I have not heard boo from anyone. Its been 4 plus years. Im told that they are waiting for me to try to buy real estate. I do not own real estate now. As far as the hospital Im not sure if its a for profit or not, I assume it is for profit. One is for the hospital one is for the anesthesiologist one is the doctor
and one is the lab.

I am a little surprised no one went after any bank accounts or your wages.
That being said, do you have the funds to offer a settlement? Are you in the market for to purchase a home? If so, don't shop for a loan just yet as that will wave a very big red flag.

You can always call the OC and ask if they'll take payment for it. If they say yes, ask them to pull it back from the CA.
If they say no, you have to work with the CA, then that' what you'll have to do.

Who are the judgment creditor's? The OC's or a collection agency, that is important. You need to know who owns the debt.

Well an attorney will charge you to negotiate the bills for you and at the end you probably end up spending as much. I would call the Original creditor and see if they accept payment from you directly, since there is a judgment I am not sure that they will take less than face value.
On my limited experience, negotiations for less than face value are done when a company sells a debt to a junk debt buyer "they buy it for pennies" and they would probably take much less than face value as long as they are making money.
Maybe other will chime in, I personally have not heard of negotiating a lower payment post judgment.

Except for the $1800, the rest are to low to negotiate. If they have not garnished your wages or bank account, try making small monthly payments.
