scheaduling from court house?

Long story shortened a lot ...I have two judgements against me.
Both default ccs. To this date I have not been in the information loop of defending myself and using the tools provided here.. I am NOW starting to defending myself, but am unsure of how to find out court docket and times I need to be there...and when...
I work 60 hours a week and time off hurts overtime to pay the behind bills...so I dont want to waste my time.
So an overview of the NORMAL proceedure here in Oregon
so I can keep default judgements from landing...
There are many defaulted ccs headed down this trail..
Circuit court...
An overview will help a lot ..Thank you

Have you checked to see if your courts documents/dockets are online?

For the judgments you have against you have you contacted the court to see if they can mail you the things in your file?

I went to the court house and got judgements.. 1 has served me with Written interrogotories . I called and got a verbal extension of 30 days...I dont trust them
and worried that they will continue efforts in my absence...And the other judgement was signed Dec 11 in which I wasnt in the loop of.Its coming to life and I want to know
if and when they are appearing in court..
Not sure if court is on line here...There is a computer room for viewing doc,s...(small)
Have atty appt next week...Still concerned and need to know how to stay with the action..

You got a verbal extension from the attorney? I'm assuming these interrogatories are more a fishing expedition for assets to perfect the judgment? When were they originally due?

OK, I read your story on another site. Were you served properly, and just uninformed, or were you served to start with?

No, I meant on the internet. Google the name of the court and see if they post their dockets online. Some do, some don't.

Sounds like you have it somewhat under control...I don't know what your statutes require (if anything) there may be a window of time when they can't pursue assets while they wait for possible appeal... Maybe a legal whiz will chime in and know what I'm talking about, and explain it better.

But remember, final days into Christmas - it may be slow going around here.

Fishing trip down to the leader size used and hook size. I have appt with atty next week
and how to answer with out goving up any unwarrented info. I was served Nov 26th by cmrrr and had 20 days. This was the first notice I personally was aware of action on the debt. So its been hectic seeking atty help in this field. Had appts only to find out
even the legal system knows little on consumer law.Our Oregon referal system
appears to be out scourced..And dosent know any thing...So I called the atty who is collecting the charged of debt and explained that I was attempting to get an atty,s help...With appt next week..They gave me 30 days to complete...but I get an uneasy
feeling I have been had ...I did write the persons name/time/etc.in the event it arrises..
MAybe I should get to know some clerks in the "know" there..lol

It wouldn't hurt.

Have you been given any court dates? If so, make sure that you show up at the appropriate time so the opponent can't show up and say you aren't there and get ruling in their favor.

read my thread Dynamic Strategies... many issues here are same.... I am in Oregon too. any questions, just write me.

First, if you are served and notify attorney that you plan to make court appearance, attorney cannot get a default judgment without giving you 10 days notice.

Second, you said you had 20 days once served complaint. I think it is 30 days; double check this rule.

Third, order your credit reports and check infomation reported. Usually it is inaccurate and can be used as leverage toward resolution.
