You need to find a reason to force the judge ti recuse him/her self.
Are you taking a court reporter so that you file an appeal if necessary?

One more thing.... in district court you have to ask permission (file a motion) to bring your own stenographer which means that I know that this judge will deny it.

I wouldn't suggest trying recusal unless you know good and well that it is going to happen.
That is a sure fire way to seal your fate.

Let it be denied then appeal it.

You know I was thinking...the last time I filed some papers at the court there was a lot of extra security at the entrance and security stationed in places where there isn't usually anyone. Ok, so I put my keys and briefcase on the conveyor belt and walk thru the metal detector and the guard asks me, "Got any knives, or weapons?" I sort of looked at him because most of the security people know me when I come in and I smiled and said, "No sir," and he checked me out from head to toe. The other security just smiled at me and normally I am dressed when I go there, but since I was just dropping off papers and running errands that day I had on jeans and a sweat shirt...
Think someone became disgruntled recently and acted bad? I haven't heard anything on the news.

The much difficult question is how do we get Drivel to recuse him/her self from this thread.

Ok, I have a question for all of you legal minds....take for instance that you've gone thru scheduling hearing and you have all of your dates as to when discovery will end, last date for dispositive motions, and when you can amend your complaint. You amend your complaint, add defendants (weeks ahead of time), and it is still just sitting there as a lodged document and discovery is almost over.
Anyone ever heard of this? And doesn't this impede my ability to try my case? I can't serve the other defendants because the complaint hasn't been filed by the court!!!

Looks like you will have to commence a special proceeding to obtain an order of compliance directed to the clerks office.
Yippee! More Litigation!!!

No, I think I'd like to add this to my list of reasons to appeal.
