I've been getting them all day although I have been getting political calls as well, but I don't recall any being all zeros in the past.

I'd say your Caller-Id screwed up or it's a CA/JDB spoofing.

| When Hubby Skype's me it shows up as 000-123-456. Maybe it was just somebody using an internet based service.

| I've had some...last one was a charitable entity wanting to know if I would match what I sent the last time around. Some have also been political crap. None have been related to credit matters...

The reality is that some people around here (although not as much as some other boards) insist on looking for nefarious activity at every ring of the telephone. People need to quit being so worried about who is calling and simply answer the damned thing...

| True story, I had a number come up on my caller ID last night. I didn't recognize it.
What did I do in this serious situation you ask?
Well, I figured I had two options.
1. I could leap out of my seat, fire up my computer and start googling like crazy. Who was it, what business do they have with me, have they called before? will they call again? what could the sinister reason be for not leaving a message? Surely this dasterdly deed could not be overlooked.
If I couldn't find out these answers on my own, I could ask on message boards. Who is it? Can you people find out for me? any one else recognize this number? I could then have asked my neighbors, friends, family, people in the grocery store?
2. I could ignore it.
I chose number two and would you believe it, I hadn't thought about it until I saw this thread again.
Just thought you'd like to hear my story.
I'm drivel and I approved this message.
