Discovery, what should I be asking for?

I have yet to receive anything about my case from the plaintiff. I want to get started on discovery, but am unsure what all I should ask for. Nothing has been submitted to the court, only the complaint.

Anyone got any info to get me started, or a good website to read?

Thanks,

Have you researched your local rules to know how to ask, what you can ask for, what format is used, etc?

Start with your local law library. Research your local forms book. Look for similar cases that were attorney represented at your local court. Read the pleadings. Learn from others.

Even though it is based on MN rules, this link offers a place to start:

If you do not have a pacer account, you should consider getting one, there you can see what other people have filed and that will give you an idea , with regards to what you should ask for.

I will see if I have some links somewhere that might help you and I will post them here.
