I have a plethora of student loans, all in deferment, never any late payments throughout their lengthy history (professional student) Looking at my CSC/Equifax report, I see that they are showing the "high credit" at the original loan amount, and the "balance" at a higher amount. I know this higher amount is due to accrued interest. With them showing a deferment status, is this higher "balance" causing a problem with FICO, and is it fixable?

I don't believe FICO penalizes you for high balances on installment accounts.
