I am in North Carolina and the case against me will be in District Court. So far the CA attorney's have sent me their complaint and now I am working on my answers to their Admissions and Interrogatories.

So far I have been able to Deny and state objections to many of their Admissions and Interrogs and have relied mostly on RCP and NC General Statutes when denying their claims.

I would like to hammer things home with some case law but I am having a bit of a hard time finding it for NC. I know I need to go to the Law Library here but I haven't been able to get there yet. I have some case law that works well with my case but it's for other states such as New York or Illinois.

Most of their evidence I am trying to show is hearsay and will file a motion to strike as such. What they have is
1. Barely legible Copy of an old and Incomplete CC agreement from the OC (some pages were cut off when they made the copy),
2. 1 monthly account statement from OC,
3. Bill of sale/assignment from OC to CA (this is a 1 pager that makes no mention of specific accounts)
