Hi everyone, I sure hope you can help me because I am lost as to what to do from here.
I have 2 Capital One accounts on my CR's that are charged off and past SOL for collections, they were due to fall off of TU and EQ in Aug and Sept on 2009 and on EX it said they will report until Jan 2010.
I disputed the accounts in Feb 2008, they were verfied and UNCHANGED so I left them alone as I had other fish to fry at the time. Feb 2008 was the very first time I had ever disputed these accounts, until Feb 2008 they just sat on my reports updating every month since
In June I disputed them again as obsolete to see if they would drop off, the CRA's recieved my disputes on June 19th.
EQ has already verified BOTH and changed the DOFD's to Mar 2003 where the DOFD used to be 8/2002 on one and 9/2002 on the other account.
I don't have a clue as to TU yet, they are so secretive until the very end
EX verified them and it remained UNCHANGED it will still report until Jan 2010.
I know for a fact that the last time I paid any of these accounts was in July 2002 as I started chemo and lost my job.
I have suffered for 7 years with Cap One updating every month with a new balance as well as a CO comment in the payment history, it truley is time for them to go.
Can anyone help me in getting them removed due to reaging?
