How to get old addresses removed from CR?

My wife has 17 entries on Experian for name variations and different addresses, some of which she's never had, both in her maiden name and married name. There's no open accounts or inquiries that we do not recognize so I don't think it's a case of ID theft, mostly just typos it seems over the years.

What's the best wording to use to ask them to remove everything but her current address which she has had for the last 8 years?

I would just write a letter something like "My correct name is Jane Doe, and I live at 123 Main St, Anywhere, State. I have lived here for over eight years. Enclosed is a copy of my driver's license as proof. Please remove all other names and addresses from your records."

Something like that.

Oh I just went thru this, noticed 13 entries on Experian 10 of which were wrong spellings and wrong numbers!!!

This is EASY to fix!

Look at the page of your report that has the address information.
Call the 800 number experian has listed on the top of report.
Listen to the voice prompt on the phone...
Press yes to dispute personal information.
It will ask you to enter the code numbers for the wrong addresses.
Use the buttons on your phone to type in the codes
(codes are those numbers below the addresses)
Just dispute all the incorrect ones.
Sometimes there is a limit, then you will be connected to an agent.
If that happens tell the agent that the addresses are reporting wrong.

They will send you a corrected report within a few weeks!
