Hi everyone, another newbie here lol.
Hello all I hope everyone is well. I had a very basic question to start...in ordering the credit reports from the different bureaus is it better to get the ones that are monthly "membership" types that show changes. Or is it better to just order the "one time" report?
Thanks much,
Jay

Absolutely order your one-time reports directly from the bureaus. Much more info on them then on the ones from the membership sites.
If you need to begin the repair process, memberships are a great way to monitor progress.

Yes, get the actual reports. Date of major first delinquency, last activity, status, etc., are important to see.

I would go the route of getting them from myfico.com
Ordering them from the individual reporting agencies is ok, but from what I have learned through the years, ordering them from myfico.com forward slash 12 will get the reports and the negative reason codes so you know what is affecting your scores the most.
Good luck.

This maybe true, but if litigation is necessary, MyFICO reports are hearsay in court.
You need to have the CB's mail you the report. Some courts will not admit internet generated reports, hearsay and can be altered.

And, as Apex pointed out, the trimerge reports don't show all of the information.
Get the reports from each individual bureau. The monitoring sites are good for monitoring and seeing changes, but work from the individual reports.
