CRA verifiy Name and SSN

Is this absolutely all they have to verify when investigating an collection account? I read the FCRA but was still unclear.

Thanks

Good question Kojack, it has been a while for me and honestly I do not have the answer to the question. Hope others do!

It depends on how you dispute. With a "not mine" dispute that is generally all that is needed, but if you get very detailed by disputing specific info within the TL, then, in a perfect world, name and SSN are not enough.
