Unhappy Old Debt/Hello Newbie

I have a question, i have a old debt that is continuing to appear on my credit report as new, I need help in removing these items, what letters I need to right CRAs or how to dispute these old items.

1) I have a repo that was in 1999 that just showed up 08/02/08, I don't know how to get it off my credit report can anyone help and most of my all my debit is similar 7-8 years old, I'm 40 i have a good job I live in an apartment, I would like to own something in the next couple of years, I drive and 1996 nissan sentra I try to get a new car they said I have to many challenges, someone please help and guide me

I think I answered this somewhere before but anyhow, we would need to see the tradelines to specifically tell you how to attack these with your dispute letters. Could you please post the tradelines with your personal info redacted?
