You can do a procedures request and/or a FACTA dispute with the data furnishers of those tradelines.

What exactly are you disputing?

I am disputing a couple charge-offs, late payments and collections. I already went through a credit repair company and have had some success. All of my recently opened revolving accounts are current and my balances are zero. My last late payment is being reported as 16 months ago. The charge-off accounts were verified and those are the same accounts that just went into collections. All the charge-offs were deleted from my Equifax report but the late payment and collection is there. The Experian online dispute doesn't let me dispute anything becasue they say everything has been verified. TransUnion just wrote me saying that my dispute had already been verified and was therefore frivolous. What should I do next? My TransUnion score is the lowest at 566. The others are both above 600 when I started this dispute thing I was in the mid 400's all around the board.

While asking for procedures, restate your dispute - be very specific info field by info field. Sometimes the CRAs would rather ignore your procedures request and do another dispute.

As Hannah said, you can also do FACTA disputes with the creditors.

Or you can let it wait for a while and try again in a few months. Do you know how your credit repair company disputed? They could have created problems for more disputes depending on their methods.

If you have to let it wait - spend the time attempting to obtain positive credit as well. While your score will go down in the short term, you need 100% positive accounts that are open and active. Positives help offset negatives

Do I just write a letter for the procedures dispute?

I was thinking about writing two of the credit card companies asking to remove the late payments as a goodwill gesture since I have not been late on a payment in 18 months.

How do I do a FACTA dispute?

The credit repair company was called MSI and i received one of their letters and it just said " I dispute this debt" handwritten.

I have four revolving accounts in good standing and a car loan in good standing.

Thanks.
