Question Getting a Business Grant

I have got a business plan and I want to start my own business but equipment is so expensive. So I am looking for a business grant. I have heard about those grants all the time but can't find any information on them. I don't want to buy the book that tells you, I want the actual information, website or name of companies and to know how to go about getting them. Does anyone have any information on how to get them? Thank you so in advance.

I don't know a lot about it, but a good place to start is the Small Business Administration (SBA).

They have lot of resources and can point you in the right direction, plus I believe they do give grants.

You are right to not just buy the book. It will most likely give you a list of web sites and addresses, things that you could find yourself by doing a web search.

If the SBA site doesn't work out, just Google something like "small business grants" and see what happens. You might add the word "government" in there, too.
