I saw a news story that the US Senate is holding hearing on abusive credit card practices today. The committee has been investigating abusive practices by credit card companies since the beginning of the year – this is on-going so if it’s not today it’s still worth your time to email support. So far there has been some positive results as Citi announced last week they will ELIMINATE two practices 1) universal default and 2) over limit fees after continuous state of overlimit condition for 90 days. I urge anyone here to email Senators who are committee members to support their efforts. You can link to the committee and find members from:
