Chevron is still payable through checkfree.com. Exxon and Shell was removed from them when Citi took them over. Used to have a $2K limit until problems started happening.

When I first started learning to repair my credit I thought that I had opted out for good, but apparently not. I just got an offer from Orchard (small limit) if I am willing to pay $59.00 a year.

I don't think I need a good trade line that bad right now.

You can do a lot better than that. You have a PenFed account. Did you get a credit card from them?

I haven't applied. You suggested that I wait a while, right? Or was that to re-finance my car?

They send me all kinds of offers in the email, but not cc offer yet. I was thinking I'd make a few more payments and then hit em up.

One thing is for sure though, a year or two ago, I was only getting a secured card offer from the Orchard...something must be improving.

Be careful, FT. With Drivel, you don't know if it's the kind of punch you can drink or the kind where he hits you a good one. He is behind bars, you know!

He's only a member of.... the other guy...the one in the black robe...is behind the bar.

Hasn't been promoted yet....but then again, with his brand of humor he promotes himself...deservedly.

come on now, lets get this thread back on topic. Roybean needs a credit card for his cigarrettes.

I'll start: Capital One: Credit Cards, Auto Finance, Loans, and Savings Accounts
