Dell Battery Recall
If you own a Dell laptop, go here to see if your battery has been recalled. One of mine was not on the first list, but the other one was. Fortunately, going to the second step eliminated it and my computers are fine.

If your battery is on the list, only operate your computer with a power cord until the battery is replaced.
